from CARE (Community Alliance for
Respect & Equality), a group of
Susquehanna Valley residents
promoting ethnic, racial, religious,
spiritual, gender, age, socioeconomic
diversity and tolerance. Through
monthly meetings, they offer speakers and panels to address issues of concern.

They offer community education, provide materials to schools and libraries, serve as advocates and consultants for individuals, provide counseling, and make referrals. They work with law enforcement, church & youth groups to combat hate, and offer sensitivity training and conflict resolution, working against ageism, racism, homophobia, anti-Semitism.
