Terry “Tessie” Groover touted the wonderful work of the Breast Center of Lewisburg at the Evangelical Hospital at which she volunteers which is staffed by a team of surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and psychologists. Annually they hold a mammathon at the Susquehanna Valley Mall to raise awareness, as early detection is the best cure.
As a volunteer, Tessie helps women overcome the nervousness of a mammogram and support during treatment.
